Eco-Friendly Molded Fiber bowls are a reliable, strong and compostable way to enjoy soup, salad or a variety of takeout meals, hot or cold. Our versatile molded fiber bowls are leak, grease, and cut resistant. Made from 100% reclaimed natural fiber, which is a rapidly renewable resource you can be confident you're making the best possible eco-friendly choice for your business. Our bowls come in a variety of shapes and sizes including round, square and oval. They are a compostable and petroleum free way to offer a takeout and delivery to your customers. Matching clear lids are available to show off your beautiful packaged meals to customers.

You may come across some additional terms and abbreviations on our product listings that need more explanation. Please see the glossary below for additional explanation!

What is ASTM?

ASTM stands for American Society for Testing and Materials. There are two ASTM standards that many of our products containing bioplastics like PLA are tested for. ASTM D6400 tests products that I primarily made from bioplastics to ensure they can be composted at Municipal or Industrial Facilities. ASTM D6868 is very similar but focuses on products made from other materials that are lined with bioplastics.

What is PET?

PET is a recyclable clear plastic known as Polyethylene Terephthalate. Products containing PET can be identified by looking at the arrows forming a triangle. PET products will have a #1 in the middle. This particular plastic is commonly used to make plastic bottle containers and cups, and in our case clear lids for our molded fiber bowls. PET is non-toxic and 100% recyclable (but always double check your local guidelines!) Learn More
