All PrimeWare sugarcane products are compostable to help reduce your establishment's environmental footprint. What is Bagasse?
Bagasse is recycled fiber created when sugarcane is squeezed and you are left with fibrous pulp material. This material used to be disposed of by burning which caused air pollution and other hazardous conditions. We tested for leakage after filling with water for 24 hours, results were NO leakage even after trying to jab a spoon through it. We tested it for distortion after 24 hours and found that it had No deformation. We microwaved it in several test including peanut oil and other products. Reheated in Microwave with various products, all results were good, frozen to boiling results were also perfect. This is a product that has main stream capabilities and we like it.
