What is ASTM?
ASTM is the American Society for Testing and Materials. ASTM D6400 is the Standard for Labeling of Plastics that can be Composted (often called bioplastics) in Municipal or Industrial Facilities. ASTM D6868 is very similar, but specifically for products that are lined with bioplastics.
