These 6" x 6" x 3.19" heavy molded fiber Hinged Lid Containers are made from quality renewable, 100% reclaimed bagasse (sugarcane) fibers. All PrimeWare sugarcane products are composable to help reduce your establishment's environmental footprint. They are FDA approved for food contact and can be used to serve both hot and cold food items. All hinged containers have a secure locking mechanism to prevent unfortunate leaks or spills and keep food items fresh and ready to serve.

Durable:
These grease and cut resistant containers hold heavier foods than their paper or foam alternatives, making them ideal for any meal you can put in them. They are microwave and freezer safe and can hold temperatures up to approximately 212 degrees F.

BPI certified compostable:
This product is certified by the Biodegradable Products Institute (BPI) as biodegradable/compostable. Bagasse biodegrades completely in approximately 30-90 days in a commercial facility depending on the thickness of the product.

Bright White:
The processing of the raw sugarcane includes hydrogen whitening. There is no chlorine in our products.

What is Bagasse?
Bagasse is recycled fiber created when sugarcane is squeezed and you are left with fibrous pulp material. This material used to be disposed of by burning which caused air pollution and other hazardous conditions. It is now processed into a usable form that is the reclaimed raw material used for compostable tableware. Learn more
