  • These 10 oz. PLA Lined Hot Cups are PLA or corn-based plastic lined and are compostable, making them a great ecologically friendly option. They are made from quality Sustainable Forestry Initiative certified paperboard, and can be used with both hot and cold beverages. Convenient and reliable, they can withstand temperatures up to approximately 212 degrees F and are microwave and freezer safe for maximum convenience. The paperboard is sourced from sustainably managed forests to ensure that the cups are made from only premium quality material. CPLA or modified corn-based plastic lids are also BPI-certified compostable and ASTM D6400 compliant, and there are 2 sizes of lids available to accommodate cups so customers can enjoy drinks on the go with ease. Lids are sold separately.

    What is PLA:
    PLA products are made from polylactic acid (PLA) which is made from corn starch. This material is a great alternative to harmful plastic and does not include petroleum which is found in most plastic products.     BPI Certified Compostable:
    This product is certified by the Biodegradable Products Institute (BPI) as biodegradable/compostable. Bagasse biodegrades completely in approximately 30-90 days in a commercial facility depending on the thickness of the product.
